Aight…first of all, apologies for not blogging yesterday. I have a great explanation for that. I’m gonna make it short. Actually, I’ma do it in a timeline format. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS 100% TRUE. THESE EVENTS HAPPENED TO ME ON JUNE 18, 2008:

8:00am = my alarm went off
9:15am = I finally got out of bed (hence me being late for work)
9:35am = I finally left the house to go to work.
9:42am = My car runs out of gas
9:53am = After minutes of asking for help, a nice guy comes along and helps a brotha out.
10:11am = I finally make it to work
10:14am = I tell my boss what went down
10:17am = My boss tells me to have a seat because he wanted to talk to me
10:23am = After minutes of explanation and looking at a teary-eyed boss, he tells me that as of friday (yes, tomorrow), the company will be going out of business
10:33am = I remembered that I had an interview last week and never responded
10:48am = I arrive at the other job (where I had the interview) and the guy there said that he was about to call me to see whassup
10:53am = I explained my situation and desire to work for this company
11:14am = The guy asked me, “so…when can you start?” I said, “Monday.”
11:27am = After everything took place, I chilled the rest of the day

And there you have it. All of that took place before noon, and that’s why I didn’t post yesterday.
