Yep…the sign that people hate to see.  I realized that the 15 Minute Break was somewhat limiting me.  I missed the “AHM” flavor.  Therefore, 15 Minute Break will be off the air to make room for a new blog site.

Aight…first of all, my bad.  I’ve been feeling kinda “blah” lately concerning blogging.  It’s not time consuming, but coming up with topics is probably the hardest part, hence the no posts.  I’ma kick it back up tomorrow, but now…I have to talk about this:

I have this rollercoaster relationship with Bow Wow.  He was the man when he first came out, then the arrogance, but now…Bow Wow’s youtubery is pure comedy.  I remember when he got them video vixens back for talking smack about him.  But now…this war of words between him and the Game…HILARILOUS!  All I have to say is…I apologize to Ciara and Mya.  SMH.  Clearly NOT A GOOD LOOK.  Anyways, here is how it all went down:

Bernie Mac.

Man…this tribute is too soon. I’m not going to do the typical blog thing and copy and paste some stiff story about the life and untimely death of Bernie. He would frown upon that. “Jason…what in the hell is this?,” is probably what I would get. So, let me tell you my brief memory of Bernie.

You know when you meet somebody or know about somebody but can’t remember how you meet or heard about them? That’s how it was for me. Majority of the people that are in my social circle remember Bernie from the “Kings of Comedy” tour. Not me. I don’t remember when, but I knew about him before then. I think it was this performance that introduced me to Bernie. It was his first performance on “Def Comedy Jam.” “Def Comedy Jam” was the show back in the day. Forgive my momma, she worked a lot…but I was about 7 or 8 when I started watching “Def Comedy Jam.” “Kick A**! I ain’t scared of you m****f***s!” Ahh…classic. I think I went to school (private Christian school) the next day talkin ’bout “Kick A**!” and booooy did I ever get my a** kicked…by my momma.

Fast forward. “Kings of Comedy.” Now, I loved Steve, and Cedrick was cool. I wasn’t too fond of DL’s joint, but Bernie DESTROYED that joint. I can’t and will not point out a single thing about the performance because the WHOLE thing was pure comedy. I would highly recommend people to watch it…like TODAY! I remember a skit in that joint where he was joking (but I’m sure he was serious) about him not having a sitcom. Thank you America for listening to him, because “The Bernie Mac Show” was a great show. One of my wife’s favorite movies is “Guess Who.” I couldn’t imagine anyone else to play that part. I could go on and on about Bernie, but I gots to go. I do want to commend Larry King on his dedication show to Bernie Mac. It’s a shame that BET or TVOne didn’t hop on this first, but at the same time, Bernie deserved to be on CNN. So without further delay, I give you the Larry King Special on Bernie Mac, featuring D.L. Hugely, Steve Harvey, Cedrick the Entertainer, Ashton Kutcher, and the cast from the Bernie Mac Show (peep how much those kids grew up). Thanks Bernie…don’t make em laugh too hard up there:

Aight…I would have to say that Wild Wednesdays are the hardest. I was concerned about what I would talk about, but the Lawd used two homeless people to give me my topic today. Ironically, I crossed paths with these two homeless people three years apart. These are true stories.

Homeless Person #1: Ok…now I was leaving my friend’s house to go to Walmart. My brother was with me. For some reason, there was major construction on the road that we would normally take. It was all good tho, because we knew a quicker way (via Highway). So, we hit the highway. Our exit was coming up. As we were getting off on the exit, we prepared to stop at the stop light. Now there was a bank across the street, and it’s marquee showed the time and temperature. I’ll never forget it. It said “4:14pm” followed by “102℃.” We looked over to the left (no Tweet) and we saw this “homeless person” holding a sign.

[DON'T MISS THIS PART...LOL].

With confused looks on our faces, we noticed that NOTHING was on the sign. My outspoken brother rolled down his window and said, “Hey man…what the hell? Ain’t nothin on your sign.” The homeless man said, “Yeah, I know. I couldn’t afford a pen.”

*dead*

After we finished laughing, I had to give dude all of my pocket change. I felt so bad for my homie.

Homeless Person #2: Aight…I’ve been waiting to tell this story for a hot minute. This happened 2 months ago. I was on my lunch break. Hungry as hell, I was headed to McDonalds. Once again, I was forced to use the highway. I already knew it was hot as hell. It was 109℃ that day, and I didn’t have AC. You know it’s hot whenever you walk outside and get tired. Needless to say, I was pissed and tired from the fiery hell called outdoors. So, I got off on an exit and saw McDonalds in my view. Once again, I looked over to my left and saw a homeless person. This time, the “homeless person” didn’t necessarily look homeless. He actually looked like a college student. He was dressed up in “bummy attire.” As I got closer, I read his sign: “I’m not a bum. I’m just hot as hell.”

*flatlines*

I seriously had to park my car and LMAO because I would’ve been a danger on the road. I ended up talking to dude and he said that him and his boys did it for a joke and was gonna stop 5 minutes into it, but ended up making $175 from passengers. Dude was nice and actually broke me off with $5. So instead of going to the Dollar Menu, I was able to get a combo. Amen.
